The carrier will launch five new flights to Salzburg (Austria), Copenhagen (Denmark), Oslo (Norway), Stockholm (Sweden), and Malta. The ticket price will be from 24.99 euros to 29.99 euros. Flights will be operated under the seventh degree of freedom of air space.
Wizz Air is the largest low-cost carrier in Central and Eastern Europe. The airline's fleet consists of 122 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. Pulkovo airport is the only Russian airport where the regime of lifting restrictions on flights of foreign airlines by the seventh degree of freedom of air space is in effect. This mode allows an airline to fly between two foreign countries without landing in the country of its registration.
